Yea - we let him go as a kid but think it was Neil Lennon who got him back on a freebie (pre-contract signing) from them! Lets hope that showing is the first of many! <bubbly>

The poor bhoy looks happy again, Thank God there doesn't seem to be any permanent damage.
If there is a Rangers support in years to come I think no.46 will get their evil pelters again.

    Some great football yesterday...

Samaras n Stokes played excellently yesterday down the left hand side of attack. Great movement by Hooper - nice finishes.

Midfield very strong, Victor - what a find. Ledley - brilliant/consistant!

Defence looked good as well. We should hope Celtic hang onto Matthews !

And what a dream debut for the wee dude !

    5 goals

    Clean sheet

Great day and hopefully building up momentum.

Pud agree exactly about what you say, it would probably be hard to pick a m.o.m. as nearly every player made a good shout.
Just one thing Matthews is going nowhere not for many years at least. The debut goal was some effort taking the ball from
almost his own 18 yard line, I remember Joe McBride did the same at some wet heavy away ground, I am not sure where but
it was Nov 1966 as far as I remember.

Eight days ago the gap was 12 points. Now it's four.

Rangers were crap. It just shows how big an influence Nasmith is in that team.

People go on about them selling Jelavic in January. I'd rather they sold MacGregor as he earns them more points than the Croation. He would have done so today if it wasn't for pays his own wages Aluko.

    Naismith is a massive loss...

    Celtic getting players back
    Rangers getting injuries
    Emerging youth at Celtic

McGregor is not as good as he was a couple of seasons ago. Then he had the aire about him that he couldn't be beaten and was seldom.
Since the game against us at the start of January he has looked beatable and has made a few howlers.
Our defence as a unit went through a spell earlier this season that nearly every attack was a goal. Now they appear to have confidence back
and Forester is making a few saves and yesterday even big Dan and Loovens looked a tight partnership and put on a good show.
Celtic team's confidence is going the right way and hopefully so is the bears all down hill.

How good was Sissoko today? Didn't give Jelavic a sniff at goal.

Not saying we should go and buy him. Just stating he had a good game.
