perhaps he was in the side more often instead of a striker by name but not by nature ;)....I don't think bamford has an actual forehead

Just seen the EFL highlights. If barndoor had just let the ball hit him in the face instead of trying to head it he'd probably have scored.

Everyone has sussed out now, the way to nullify the attack. Got to start training how to combat a 5-man defence

Should have brought a striker in january window. But Leeds have to pay bamford/dallas/struijk/shakleton who are all made of tissue paper.

I felt sorry for Piroe yesterday, 3 times in the first half he made good runs wanting the through ball but each time, Rutter twice, Gruev once, just played it out wide to Summerville and the momentum was lost, you could see he was getting frustrated and the camera briefly showed him talking to Rutter, probably saying, " you know what, there are other players in this team you can pass to, other than Jimmy" It's frustrating that the only player willing to take a shot from outside the box is Gnonto but we must play 80 odd% of our attacking play down the left.

I see the dickheads on the Ipswich forum gave you a warm reception, the petty name calling, you really can't believe they're supposed to be grown men.

Since new year, for the first 14 games, we were probably the best side in the division, as the stats and results showed, since the Int break, our form makes us one of the worst. I know the injuries disrupted us but probably more than they should have. One problem which seems pretty obvious is, other coaches have worked out get tight on Rutter, and double up on Summerville and stop our main threats, which as worked for them, Farke has done nothing to counteract this. How about shaking it up a bit and at least add a little bit of variety and put some energy back into our attack, upset what opposite coaches have trained for all week, with just a simple shuffle of the pack. Give Jimmy a free reign, hard to double up on him if he's playing across the line, OK the man marker can stay on him rather than Rutter but at least he has better ball control.

    Gnonto...Summerville..Anthony

Piroe does not play as a striker and did not before he signed. The failure to sign a decent striker lies at the feet of leeds utd. Bamford was given an expensive long contract sucking funds needed for a better player.

At Swansea Piroe played just behind the main striker, effectively two up front with Piroe latching on to any layoffs/flick ons to score his goals.

Farke doesn’t, and never has, played that system. Which begs the question why did he sign this player?

Waste of a proven goal scorer.

Piroe can play as a pivot, with Summerville and James running in behind. A bit like a poor man's Kane if you like.

Problem is that if he drops too deep then he steps on Rutters toes and vise versa. Farke likes his 9s to play on the last man more.

Not seen the game but just looking at the stats, seems very similar to our game yesterday

Liverpool possession 70% compared to ours yesterday of 75%

Total shots Liverpool 21 v Palace 8 compared to yesterday Leeds 19 v Blackburn 3

Total shots on target Liverpool 6 v Palace 5 compared to Leeds 5 v Blackburn 2

Liverpool and Leeds managed to get 28% and 24% of total shots on target compared to Palace and Blackburn who managed to get 62.5% and 66.6% on target

After our game i never even looked at football as I was down in the dumps just seen Ipsbitch didn't win either jeez nobody wants this. it's still all up in the air it's crazy 1 more mistake now though for any of us and that's the last straw me thinks. top 2 still in the driving seat as we are chasing but it's not over till its over. More disappointed yesterday in our tactics I thought Farke may of mixed it up after Sunderland but again we were to easy to read. Ok I understand try the tactic that has got us to where we are but after HT you have to try something else. yes we threw loads of attackers on but the game plan was still the same. What worry's me the most though is we have lost our scoring boots and let's be honest we have looked awful as a attacking threat in the last few games. Understand every player nervous now and nobody wants to be that guy to make the wrong decision but we have to man up and take chances shoot from somewhere that looks a half chance make our own luck yes it may go miles over but it also may hit someone and fall right at the feet of one of our players as at the moment we are not getting through these parked buses. we huff and puff and try to walk the ball over the line is it the right way? I don't know I'm not a Manager but if you don't shoot you don't score is my motto. The amount of corners and free kicks we had yesterday should of caused problems but we just don't do set pieces do we. plus some players are feeling it and some players are going off the boil. Bamford,Kamara,James look nothing like they did before the internationals. Rutter,Summerville aren't doing what we know they can. can understand Summerville because he gets doubled up on sometimes trebled up its like walking into a brick wall thats why we need to change a tactic at times because its one vision find Summerville but the poor lad has nowhere to go. Rutter just looks like he's playing with a lead ball at the mo plenty of effort just he looks extremely nervous. hey up we go again. The lads need some confidence boost a goal off a arse or a own goal or just a damn right deflection to kick start it again.

There have been some big upsets today when you see that both Liverpool and The Arse both lost at home so we are not the only chokers.
