Bristol City receive timely injury boost ahead of weekend trip to Norwich City Rob Dickie is closing in on a return to the Bristol City starting XI with Liam Manning also singing the praises of George Tanner's contribution this season https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/bristol-city-receive-timely-injury-9224257
Manning will probably play Tanner with Dickie centrally. Dickie has been good for us all season operating on his wrong side. I'd like to see Dickie right side with Roberts on his natural side.
I would have thought that you would have agreed with his official complaint to the Refereeing Authority about the reffing of the Aston Villa game too? Not that it did much good - They agreed it wasn’t good enough and we had an official apology. 3 points that may have seen us break into the playoffs that season - not that that would probably have done us much good either
Sh*t happens R&W, check the Huddersfield manager from Saturday's game. As for Ayling.........you can't be a serious defender with that haircut !

the task ahead is getting harder ... for top 6 ... take NOW! 5 recent premier league teams in top 6 today and "the odd one out " that nearly always seems to make vying for promo [ Hull who have been before in 7th ] so next season likely there will be another 6! [ remaining 3 ] joined by Sheff U Burnley & ???

Sold for £0: Bristol City got nothing back after £7m agreement: View Bristol City's £7m deal to sign Han-Noah Massengo was one that didn't work out at all. https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/sold-for-0-bristol-city-got-nothing-back-after-7m-investment-view/
Unfortunately the signing of Massengo is a blot on our leadership's ability to get anything right and who was ultimately to blame for this fiasco is up for personal guesses. He was a one trick pony with long hair and occasionally impressed with his long runs where he would eventually give the ball back to the opposition of the day virtually every time. Clearly Burnley saw little in him and his dream of playing in the Premiership was limited at best and non-existent at worst which indicated that he was not up to the task on nearly all fronts. I always thought that SL's day job was to convince investors that he knew a bargain when he saw it, but obviously that has never applied to his footballing ventures. What's wrong with the man? I suspect loss of control is his biggest issue and how on earth can we take comfort from that scary fact?

I know a few on here doubted Liam but imo he’s a very decent coach.. certainly knows how to setup a team against a decent opponent and is beginning to suss out what we need to do against a lesser one.. I think a couple of players brought in to enhance what we have and next season could be very interesting.. Best coach we’ve had here since LJ
