He's a plonker, and hopefully, given time, will get plenty of time.

Goes on honeymoon and claims some robbers threw him and the driver out of the car, but kept his wife. Now, I can understand if these guys were rapists, of course you throw the guy out, but they were robbers. What robbers throw the guy out and keep the wife?

What next. Well, the guy is so upset and without himself, after all they are on honeymoon, that he flies home to the UK after 3 days. No, of course he is not running away, and of course he doesn't think, out of sight out of mind. Of course he doesn't think, extradition, they don't have that.

What next. Well a distraught husband who flees the scene, will do what. Oh, I know, I'll go to a publicist! What!!!!!

What next. Extradition, no way hosie. i won't get a fair hearing, where's my publicist.
What next. Audacity, I will try and do a deal with the authorities. Who the feck do you think you are, you little fecking owner of an old folks home. Where's my publicist.

What next. I am suffering from depression and a stress disorder. Aye, cos you know you are guilty and they will extradite you.

What next. Can't attend a hearing because I have been admitted to hospital. How fecking convenient.

What next. He was discharged from hospital said his publicist.

You can't run away, you are going down. The nation isn't fooled by your shenanigans or the words of your publicist. Who the feck goes to a publicist in this kind of situation.

    Going down.

This should do it. Here is an excerpt from the BBC Website:

A man accused of ordering the murder of his wife during their honeymoon in South Africa has been discharged from hospital, his family has said.

Shrien Dewani, who has been suffering from clinical depression and a stress disorder, was admitted to Bristol Royal Infirmary on Sunday.

His family said he had suffered a reaction to his medication.

Mr Dewani, 31, has denied any involvement in the death of his Swedish wife Anni, 28.

South African authorities want him to be extradited to stand trial accused of ordering the shooting of Mrs Dewani.

    'Feeling better'

Mr Dewani, who is on bail, was unable to attend a recent court hearing because he is suffering from depression and severe post-traumatic stress disorder.

An extradition hearing for Mr Dewani has been set for 3 May at Woolwich Crown Court in London.

Aye, he does look like he's come out the closet.

There's more to this than meets the eye, but the press are not reporting much. Wonder why? D notice maybe. My hunch is that his old folks home is full of debt, and the insurance from a dead wife solves all the problems. Just a hunch?
