doubt it guru. as you often remark his reputation is not a new thing. as you are all too aware i defend holty but you can't defend what he did on saturday. there was no contact. sadly it seems its all part of the game in the premier league. we've already suffered from some frightening decisions where players have taken a tumble under no contact and its cost us points. not sure if you watched the liverpool game vs city but suarez gave possibly, no definitely, the most ridiculous display of histrionics i've ever witnessed in a single football match. it truly was becoming a quite absurd situation long before the end of the match - yet not one commentator brought it up, match of the day glossed over it. instead they wanted to wax lyrical about how good his game was. sadly, the only thing i shall remember from his 'performance' in that match is his constant whining and cheating. fair play to arsenal though, they didn't resort to those sort of things
Arsenal are probably a better side and didn't need to.If Van Parsley had the number and quality of chances that Suarez had against us it would have been 1-6.Suarez for all his twisty turny bits isn't in his class at finishing.
What, better than Keiron Dyer? His seven minutes for QPR were immense, the lad never put a foot wrong
Don't know whether anyone joined me in watching AC Milan V Barcelona last night? Lionel Messi proved what it takes to be a real football star. Both sides were happy to kick each other, which was strange considering the skill on show. Messi came in for more than his share. But no rolling about in apparent agony, no looking to go down before he's touched, no waving an imaginary card to the ref to get his opponent in trouble and straight to his feet after having them swept out from under him. I suppose if you are that good you don't have to cheat. Unlike most of the tossers who pretend to play football.
Holtys Back on Twitter by the way. Giving the Ipswich boys some proper stick. They've just responded by saying he's fat over and over again. No banter those lads...
Just hope Neil Warnock has sent a video of Grant Holts antics to Mark Clattenberg ahead of this weekends game against us. I remember Mr Warnock said last year he is very good at conning at refs and having seen his theatrics against Arsenal falling over in the box hes stil trying. Ill be there saturday and ive told my Norwich mad family not to bother with xmas presents if we beat you lot saturday because that will be the biggest present of the lot apart from beating Chelsea and at least if you do beat us we have the return match 5 weeks later for revenge. Both of our teams will stay up and look forward to many battles in the seasons ahead hopefully in the premiership.
The bloke is a legend but i think we have honestly found his best place for matches and thats the bench cos the lift it gives the team and crowd when he comes on is unbelievable.
