Yeah, he's been a bit hit and miss since he came, but he was ok yesterday I thought - in the first half at least. But there wasn't much passing going on and he was having to try to carry the ball a long way.
I have a feeling the guy who posts all the videos of that weird guy with the weird walk all the time is actually Jose Mourinho.
really no idea what we will do to recover out of this walking pace game. midfield in particular is something I have no idea what we do to get energy back in those legs. endo and macca are shattered. I'm very sure we just won't change a thing tactically and forest should play 2 up and do exactly what others like burnely did and put them standing in front of our cbs Bradley coming in at least gives some option wide. I presume we rested salah and diaz to play this game.
As expected bajcetic played 30mins in u21s, so he won't be involved here. He looked alright if a little rusty. We should not expect him to play really for seniors this season. When I say rusty he still beasted the kids of man utd but his passing wasn't always where you'd expect it.
I can't see us risking jota like that but he will come on again. I can't see quansah not starting as well. konate can't play 2 a week so this makes sense
REFEREE IS: CHRIS KAVANAGH please log in to view this image please log in to view this image The Premier League have confirmed appointments for Sunday’s clash between Liverpool and Crystal Palace at Anfield, with Chris Kavanagh set to referee. Kavanagh will referee his sixth Liverpool fixture of the season, with his most recent being the Carabao Cup final against Chelsea. That afternoon at Wembley saw Ryan Gravenberch suffer a nasty ankle injury, following a challenge by Moises Caicedo which went unpunished. Gravenberch went on to miss five games with ligament damage, with Klopp criticising Kavanagh’s performance afterwards, saying “the referee did not have the level of the game.”
To be honest doesn’t rest matter if we think he is or not. Prob more important whether the medical team has info to say if he does or not.
still a.risk. remember arsenal game last season where he was over played and stretch for a high ball and was out for months? if you bring a player on then he's more controlled. but in the end its a knee injury so hopefully not something to reoccur.
Not expecting an easy game. We struggled against Palace under Hodgson, and Mateta looks more like the striker that looked so promising in the bundesliga now that Palace have a more attack minded manager in charge
Best 11 on paper but a tired side. jota on bench is sensible. Jones in for szobo which after utd game was a deserved benching. Jones.must find spaces and macca and endo need to move more. robbo and Bradley need to offer the width imo if they do the gsme will look totally different as the cbs have a pass to make.
