However, Iran now threatening further consequences for Israel if they do anything else, I really can't see how Israel, America and the Brits, can let such a veiled threat go....really can't and they won't.

Same can be said for Israel trying to forcibly occupy Palestine with the aid of weapons from the US and UK, so nobody’s ignoring the various factions at play here. The point though is that if a foreign embassy is attacked, then that country is going to respond.
