Even though having dominated most of the game we got zero points - not disappointed with the performance just the result is a little unfair i.m.o.

    Good luck to Norwich...

I doubted PL's starting line-up, but I've been proved wrong, and what an inspired substitution. ILWT!

Not seeing how that game was dominated by anyone - QPR looked threatening with Traore and Mackay. Dangerous down the wings, but without much potency, weighed in with slightly more in the midfield, but without ever asserting themselves with any real control over us.

My personal opinion was that it was fairly close, with us edging it with more genuine chances, and generally more acute and inspired play in the final third.

    Just heard warnocks interview <doh>

We played by far the better football and in the end we got mugged out of the 3 points that we thouroughly deserved...

straight after that he says his side done terrible defending! So how is his sides terrible defending mugging his team out of 3 points??

Watched a different game to me mate. I agree that the game was, on the whole, scrappy, but QPR played much the better football and had more possession, which, as the away side is impressive. Still, you took the points, so well done. See you at our place!

Holt Zero to Hero in a week. I criticised him no end last week, not for his ability but his diving and this week its time to heap praise on him. Well deserved and all that matters is that he scored tonight. It was a typical Holt goal of reacting first and getting in front of the defender.
Didn't think it was much of a game though and we both looked Championship sides to be honest. QPR were quite happy to surrender the ball to Martin or Barnett who were quite happy to launch it forward for Morison. If we think that will frighten Man City then I am missing the point.
Interesting point from the Skypanel that our defence is so poor why worry about it. Just score one more than the opposition.
Not quite sure if surrendering the middle of midfield is that wise against better teams. QPR aren't that good without the Morrocan and they outplayed in that department.
I was surprised to see that the stats were in our favour. 50-50 possesion (?) but we had more shots.
Probably would have preferred Wigan to lose but it just shows the nature of this division. After a third of the season we are 16 points towards the 40 safety mark. Report card for Christmas is looking good.

We DID play the better football. Just enjoy the 3 points and accept that even though you weren't as good as us, you managed to take all 3 points!!

Yep, we were not good but neither were QPR. I think both teams thought the game was too important to lose and a bit fear factor crept in. You had the better of the midfield for good periods but no real cutting edge up front. We had better crosses in to the box and made better use of them. Not a lot between the two overall.

Possession was 49% Norwich and 51% QPR

I think you can just put that down as the standard post-match interview stuff after narrowly losing a close fought game.

On another day we'd have got a point, but over 38 games it'll even itself out.

Well played and good luck for the rest of the season Canaries.

Agreed! I thought we just played the better football, but as we all know, that doesn't guarantee points...like today!!

Good analysis, pretty much agree with all of that. Great to see two of our old boys combining for the winner. Maybe this will make PL realise that they are both good enough for the Premier league. Simione Jackson, not so sure?? We really needed that win, and keeps that momentum going.
