It doesn't matter if we win I can't be a **** so let's just enjoy this. I'm a yielding on a howe if they last in Europe for sure. A lesson learned is a lesson learned.
He does however need to win a pot in the next 2 or 3 seasons, which isn't going to be easy but i doubt he'll still be here if he doesn't do it. Not winning the league cup could come back to haunt him but i hope not.
In terms of what we can/can't spend? Yes i think that will have a bearing but i can't see him lasting 6 years without a trophy to show for it..that's not me being negative i think just realistic. Hopfully it isn't a situation that happens.
I'm just wondering whether they can keep hold of Isak and Guimareas this season and them you never know if the new signings will be any good. If the clubs serious they need to keep them surely.

Of course Howe will need to win a trophy in the coming years. If we get to six years into the new ownership with millions upon millions spent, he will be gone. I dont flip flop like a giant dildo as some do on here. I'm still apprehensive about Howe leading us in the coming season, let alone 4 years.
Not sure how they have more difficult fixtures when we pretty much have the same fixtures. Of the 6 games we each have left we both play: Palace, Brighton, Sheffield Utd, Burnley and each other. They play more at home though. We play Brentford (A) and they play Arsenal (H) so arguably the one difference is harder for them but the fact our head-to-head is at their place that balances it out. I'd marginally prefer their position overall because of that.
I'd move Willock and Pope to must keep to be honest. Dubs has been fine but I feel like it's been a noticeable drop-off in quality and Pope is only expendible if we get someone clearly better and there's not tons of those around.
From blue chip, must keep and promising there’s only 10 players for the squad and as we aren’t signing 15 a good few of the others will be staying. Probably at least 10 of them.

Just watched the highlights. Maddison should have been sent off. We could have scored more goals. I don’t think Dubs had to make a save. Good tactical plan by Howe. So credit where it is due.
Mine hasn't either... Still 6 games left nothing is easy especially away? But since Anderson came in and Burn moved to cb things have improved.
