Parker was magnificent going forward in the 2nd half, showed a side of his foootball which we haven't been able to see until he had the cover from Sandro.Sandro improved no end as the game wore on and made some great tackles.Lennon really does seem to be back to his best, making some great runs and setting up atleast 4/5 good chances.
    Showed real character today.

    Good point there, Pat.
I think that the changes made at half-time by Redknapp did turn the game.
He told Sandro to sit, Parker to bring the ball forward more and switched our wingers.

You Gooners are such bad losers! I am laughing my cock off at your sour grapes. It's fantastic! Get used to it, losers. Go and play your game against Fulham, knowing that even if you win, the best you will finish after this weekend is in 6th place.

Now, I suggest that you leave us to talk about our victory in peace, and get back to that miserable hell-hole you call your home board <ok>

Probably, but that comment's going to haunt you if you're wrong! <laugh>

If Bobby Zamora can force your defenders into physical tussles, then it could get interesting.
Very attacking line-up by them, though.
    Senderos... <doh>

  9. Great players always manage to find that little bit extra to get the job finished. Harry seems to have assembled quite a few players with that ability, and it's showing in our lofty position in the league. We look like a team that does not know when its beat, and that is what we need to challenge for the title, let alone a mere 4th spot. At this point in the season, I'd be disappointed if all we manage to do is finish 4th. I'm not interested in those who say "I'll settle for 4th right now!" Well, I won't, and I never will, and with this team and with this manager there is absolutely no reason why we should settle for 4th.

Today was a test passed with flying colours, and should go someway to silencing those who thought we'd be less effective without Mod or VdV...but both! and still we missed gilt edged chances, it could have been 4/5...again....where's that tit Luke! :D

    From the BBC live thread:

"1842: I haven't heard a crowd this quiet since Daphne & Celeste were introduced as the surprise guests at one of our student union parties." <laugh>
