On a match round basis, the last 7 are going to be very painful for the top 5 week by week. As Spurs supporters we should feel the pain the least.

Disgraceful performance, I am slowly having my doubts about Aussie Ardiles. Every single team we play has worked out how to play against our high line, they sit back, defend properly and wait for the gifts on the counter as we leave acres of space in behind. Both full backs are suspect defensively and error prone, our midfield also gets out run. It appears we are set up wrong and have no idea how to change it, there is no plan B or in game management, it`s the way we play mate.
I’ve been saying for some time our tactics and formation are too predictable and do not work effectively. Either our midfield or defence at any time is outnumbered. We need to change this. Tactically inept!
We have 6 games to prove whether we really have moved forward. Many of the games against teams where as a player, you shouldn’t need to have to try and get up for the game. I’m reserving judgment until then.
I would tend to agree, and listening to the after match comments from various Newcastle players I think Ange needs to either completely revamp that squad or find another way. Worrying end to the season coming up I think.
Yeah I agree. Even though I have been one of the most over reactive on here I can see that we are better overall than last year. It’s just the fact when we are bad we are so bad. I just hope we have a ****ing word with ourselves for the last few games and don’t capitulate like we have done in the past.
we got 71 points that season. Meaning we need 11 points out of 18 to match it. Right now I can’t see us doing that at all. But I will wait until the end of the season to call it out. Plus we lost one of our greatest ever player this season so to get close to that points total would be a decent achievement.
