Was wanting him from half time, they were playing very compact and together so we needed someone who could run at them. Gnonto is definitely better at running with the ball than James.

Personally, I love the way Gnonto plays, he is exciting and a joy to watch when firing on all cylinders. Pity he had his head turned by greedy reps out for the fast buck, but now that's one player who can make the step-up to the prem, and is young enough to get better every game he plays as he's learning as he goes. Bet there's a lot of regret for letting Jack Clarke go, giving how he turned out worth over 20 mill now

Debatable I’d say. Clearly stands out in a poor team

The hook was for that clown Spanish but you will do I suppose.
Fact is though we beat yourselves and Leicester home and away, you've probably had more luck than anyone, saying that I think you deserve promotion just for your dogged determination.

I've read that Coventry and Sunderland set up to defend against us but that doesn't make sense, Coventry scored twice and Meslier was, by far, the busiest keeper last night. They just defended as a team is supposed to do.
Our problem over the last few matches is we're too slow moving the ball about and, although you can't see it on the TV, I have to assume that players aren't moving around enough off the ball to give our defenders options. We end up pissing about with it at the back until we either lose it or hump it forward to no one in particular. Paddy is in the team because he holds the ball up and presses defenders. He's been doing neither over the last few games. There is only any urgency when the subs come on, which is usually too late.
Firpo was the only one playing positive passes.
The amount of times the ball got to Dan James and he checked back was so frustrating to watch.
By the time we eventually get to the final third they're all back and ready for us.
    Gnonto ran at defenders.
The most glaring problem is the same as it's been for years. We can't pass or shoot in the final third, we either run into trouble or blaze it miles over.
    It's panic for some reason.
As has been said, we need to see the hungry players from the start. Roberts RB, Gray with Gruev, Gnonto for James, Piroe for Rutter and Joseph for Paddy.

    But it won't happen.

He might be tempted for a return when you get promoted but you already have a decent winger.
I think you are one of the best teams we've played this season, we got away with the handball and if your strikers could shoot straight it could have been a lot different

At least Ipswich only got a point tonight, they will slip up as the pressure mounts.

    Very good comments,
There is no movement from players without the ball as you have said, which makes the defenders job easy.
Also I think this is why Rutter loses the ball as he tries to make things happen, but as nobody moves into space he ends up in a blind alley.
    I would not drop him.

Fair of you to say so but the penalties apart I thought you dealt with us fairly easily.
