I don't know how many times he's been named on the bench yet, but one sub appearance this year isn't encouraging. Not saying Howe doesn't stick with his favourites, but Miley came through this year, I know nothing about this guy yet.
Just because you don’t take a keen interest in our youngsters doesn’t mean they are not ready. Miley only came in as there was no one else - I assume you would have had Hayden or Hendrick starting if they hadn’t been away from the club on loan? Also, Heffernan is part of the first team squad this week. Another potential great centre back.
There's only so much interest I can take in the youngsters when it's not first hand, just genuinely haven't seen him at all. I've heard this guy mentioned a few times, but it's hardly been fever pitch about him.
Tbf he’s been in the first team squad most of the season. He’s been called up for international duty - @Mick O'Toon can confirm. Very highly rated before he even came here and didn’t look out of place against, admittedly a ****, Chelsea
