5% across the board. So 10% in 12 months.

Hope Joelinton enjoys his pay rise <laugh>

How does that work. When was the last increase?

Is it not 10% over 2 years.

5% each season. Either way I feel the club have misread the room here.

The shirt sound thing yesterday was a great step but then today seems like a kick in the knuts for those of you lucky enough to have a season ticket.

No it would be a 10.25% increase over the two seasons if it were 5% each year.

Also, no price increases for @ToonArmy1892

Also not sure why you think it’s a kick in the nuts considering inflation has been shocking for past two years that has clearly been absorbed by the club

Potato tomato about the actual %age.
10 or 10.25 it matters not.

As for the kick in the teeth fans have also suffered inflation. The club however have had unprecedented levels of commercial growth.

I don’t think it’s right right now for the club to levy a 10.25% increase.

0.25% is a lot when it comes to finances.

And the club haven’t had a lot kicked in their teeth? Our fans whinge at anything and everything.

For Magdad it’s coming up with a morning drinking session extra.

So by that definition 10.25% is a lot for an area in England (which you don’t live in) is suffering.

Whilst on the face of it 5% may not be as steep as the rises facing some of our counterparts in the Premier League, these increases all add up. In a region of the country with less disposable income than others, the increased financial burden is felt keenly.

And please do confirm that you have a season ticket you pay for.

Unless if you don’t then you can’t really say it’s an acceptable price rise because you are not affected by it.

    Get over yourself.
I used to have one when I lived in Manchester and when I lived in Plymouth and when I lived in Exeter and when I lived in Colchester

Yeah they don’t really represent the fans just themselves as has been heavily discussed on here previously especially the talks with potential consortiums prior to the takeover

    Your comments are terribly misinformed.

The area is suffering from chronic lack of investment. To ask fans to pay an extra 10.25% isn’t acceptable.

I’m interested to hear other toon fans opinions on a 10.25% price increase when they are struggling financially.

The club shouldn’t be putting prices up by 10.25% mate. Not when the commercial income is increasing.

    That’s taking advantage of fans.

They are not and they are not taking advantage. How long was the price freeze for?

As I say. If you’re paying for a season ticket then your comments maybe become valid.

And for the record I am not. I would love one and would pay anything for one but have a young family and live 60 miles away.

But I still maintain it’s not acceptable for that price rise.

Yeah, but you'll just go on strike until you get a good enough pay rise to cover the increase.
