I was at the 1999 final. One of the worst games of football I've ever seen but still an amazing feeling at FT. The most exciting thing about that game was the release of thousands of balloons before KO that were obviously meant to be filled with helium but weren't, so there were balloons drifting across the pitch throughout the game.
My old man went to the 61 final and got so bladdered he was carried out at the end like Albert RN , he had to go to a cinema in Tottenham the following weekend to watch the whole game and only then did it come slowly back to him
Fond memories of the 99 LC final , not for the excitement of the game but it was the last game me and my dad went to , illness stopped him going after that
