That will depend on the 90 minutes later. No beer in either to help drown sorrows or celebrate.

Driven all over Nthn Europe , scariest was a night drive in rain around Brussels ring road , the locals didn’t brake and drove at the max - it was hairy . I told some Dutch and Belgians about it and their opinion that the English were best drivers in Europe for ability and safety .

They closed down after Trinity told them the rent was going up to £60,000 a year .
They said that's too much we can pay £30,000 but it doesn't work at the other price so they left and Trinity came back and said ok but it was to late so it's been empty for a fair bit of time .
Looks a nice front now .

I've ridden motorbikes all over Europe and I agree that the Belgians are some of the worst; the Italians were ok with motorcyclists but dodgy with other car users, same with the French.

I remember going in the toilet and the walls being covered in pretty extreme racist graffiti. Sadly this stuff happens I suppose. Except I then went in again over a year later and the same graffiti was still there. Not exactly a great look for a prominently placed Old town bar. Town was better off without it anyway.

Has anyone heard anything about the potential taproom at Paragon? There was talk/early planning a few months ago for a Thornbridge pub on the site but it doesn’t seem to have gone anywhere and the social media posts about it seem to have been taken down.

The Romans built Hadrian’s Wall in 6 years. So, in that time they would have built 12 miles of it.

I met my partner 5 years ago. When she travelled over they were working on the bridge then. Totally incompetent.
