First thing to say is we apparently have a prem ref for this one so them having never heard of us we will see a bit of favourite bias yet again. Any bets Leicester get a penalty. I'm not going to say we can win this because everyone knows we will lose by at least a cricket score which will wipe out all of our goal difference and with the other all winning on Saturday will put us firmly where we belong in the bottom three. Actually no bollocks to that we can win it so lets go Argyle.

Leicester manager complaining of the fixture list having them travel twice within three days.

Also Leicester's LONGEST away match travel....and the manager worried about his poor team.

If this is the LONGEST trip for them....for us it would nearly be a local derby....I thinks he pleads too much....we've heard it all before.

That other long away trip for Leicester...MILLWALL....good grief...it's hardly worth putting your bicycle clips on for that short trip.

PS....128 miles by road...(2hrs 26mins)...or...92.4 miles as the crow flies'.

We had a Premier League ref earlier in the season and I thought he was excellent. Calm, firm, fair and apparently fully-sighted.

What could go wrong? Well this is a different one I suppose.

It's when he starts calling the Leicester players by their christian names that you might get a bit suspicious.

    Argyle...1-0...Leicester...H/T.

    Bundu...21mins.

    Miller off injured......Edwards on....34mins.

Abdul Fatawu seems to be able to foul at will...without getting the refs attention.

Feck off with any negativity. I don't know how the hell they did it but did they did. I have never sat through a game of football with my nerves hanging out of every orifice as it was tonight.(now there is a sight you wouldn't want). If, and it is a big if, Leicester could finish a move then we would have been hamered off the park. But, they couldn't and we could finish even if it was only once. It was enough and we sit with an extra three points that hardly anyone anywhere expected us to have. You called it Joe and lo it came to pass. I am knackered with the adrenaline pumping and probably will take at least an extra 5 minutes to get to sleep tonight. COYG.

    Well what a game!

Leicester has bemoaned having to travel from the centre of the universe which is Leicester but they did remember to pack their own referee.

I’m not going to deny they have some good players and had two full England internationals on the bench. They had most of the play and most of the chances.

Nevertheless, Argyle ran Leicester into the ground and several times broke quickly into the space behind them when they were camped in our half.

As the second half wore on, it seemed inevitable Leicester would score but Argyle remained resolute and Cooper was well, Michael Cooper. As time got short, you could see Leicester converting belief into desperation until that’s all they had.

This was nothing like the best we’ve played this season, nothing but it was the bravest and most determined performance by far.

We Are Staying Up sang the Argyle fans. Play like that, and you can bet we are.

Just watched the video....blimey and we thought we couldn't score goals anymore....that's a long journey home with a result like that to brood about.

Cooper made a few excellent saves there....showing a lot of bravery.

I wasn't going to mention the Ref. But, as you have notdistant I feel obliged. I actually called this before kick off in my original post on this thread. He was the same as all the rest we have had this season. Swayed by entitlement and gave Leicester every encouragement he could. I was waiting for the penalty and felt sure it was bout to come or even a Red Card or two. He at least resisted that. I watched a shed load of replays when I got to the watering hole. What a dive one of their's made and the only thing the Ref did wrong in that was not book him for diving. He seemed quick enough to book our players and some of the bookings were ludicrous. Whatever happened to a 50/50? Several bookings against us were for identical situations they committed without sanction. I just hate the officials we have had this season.

I thought he was awful. Not a patch on the other guy that was here. He did indeed look though his mission was to protect the Premier League elite from thugs like us.

Twelve fouls by each side, 7 bookings for us (of which one was for kicking the ball away) but.none for them, Really?

Certainly there were one or two in the custard yellow shirts who could fall over in a gentle breeze and get God booked.

BBC Stats said we had 5 yellows....and they had 2 yellows ?

I'm sure that Abdul Fatawa must have had a few ..."get out of jail cards"...that he used up last night.
