Fans seemed pleased. Fair enough, they would be right to see it as a good point but, as you say, condemns them to the unbearable ****eness of not being in the play offs. And...I'm sure when they took the lead, they were singing about going up, so it wasn't as if they were settled on their fate.
Walking through Walton Street car park after the game.....I thought they thought they'd just got promoted to the Champions League...There were car horns being peeped and cries of 'Boro.'...They'd just got a point at little Hull City.....Sad set of silly see you next Tuesday (s).
If a draw against a fellow mid table club which all but ended their hopes of promotion makes them happy who are we to judge I suppose
