Yeah, but you have came onto the biggest problem with your argument. Howe does not rotate, subbing off a player in 70th minute isnt rotating and Trippier never even got that much. If you said to me, Trippier plays on a monday, we have a game wednesday and saturday and Tino plays them I would say "lol obviously" but if you say to me the reality, which is Trippier will be playing Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. I'd say "Lol get off Not606 Eddie Howe and go do some work you ****ing dork"
We have at least one more season out of Trippier playing first choice, but Liv is ready to cover for him more now, so hopefully not an issue next season. After next season I assume he'll go
Wilson will probably do well there tbh, it's slow and **** there and he won't get as many injuries; ASM is smashing it up there and Mitro has 33 goals already. Plus Wilson will jump at the chance to **** off and retire in the sun, all win.
Problem is, it doesn't seem to matter whether another player is ready to cover or not. Livra has looked fine to play and rotate with Trippier all season. It didn't happen, even after Trippier started dropping regular howlers.
Well now we've proven we can get results without playing the same team every week, hopefully this will get eddie to rotate. Eddie will have hopefully learned a lot this season. I think we'll keep Tripps and he will be rotated. He has to be. He's still one of our best players on form.
Part of the core issue again goes to recruitment. We were specifically buying subs and youth. You buy for the first XI and get competition.
No, we need to aim at getting the right new kids in as well. We need to plan for the future now. I do agree, however, that we should not buy senior players for the bench and should only buy for the first team.
