We know he's in negotiations for a new contract, and we know he'll want more and better on a level comparative to Bruno. He'll probably be negotiating higher, but not much, therefore it's predictable he'll be the highest paid player here ever....which isn't saying that much tbh.
Just seen that. I’d imagine we’ll soon see a completely new training complex, that’s the kind of money that tends to be spent.
If by soon, you mean 10 years time then aye. If you mean soon as in they're about to announce it in next few months then miles away. Not even found a plot of land they've decided on yet. Won't until stadium decision is finally made with regards staying or moving. With staying being the more likely choice from recent whispers, and nothing being done till after 2028 at the earliest.
Yeah this takeover is a slow burner... they just paid millions to update the current training facilities so they must plan on being there at least another 3 to 5 years I would think.
I highly doubt he'll be made the highest paid player really. I don't see any other club offering him more than 150k, unless it's a saudi club or something. I think he's currently on 90k a week. He's should be mindful that although he's very important, he's not worth more than the likes of bruno or trippier. 125k a week should be sufficient. But whatever, if the club think he's worth more, then if they can manage our financial situation while paying him more than thats fine with me.
lol you keep mentioning Trippier. Bruno, Isak and Gordon are all far superior to Trippier. Tonali is and so is Botman. Oh and Pope. Trippier WAS awesome. He should now be back up to Tino
