Which is why in thread I keep saying bam bam bam.

We are stopping what we do in these games are the pressure is on us. We haven't gone and got that second goal very often at all and have had to chase games quite a lot as a result.

When you get a foot on their neck then stomp down hard. We keep taking it off and picking our rivals up and helping to dust them off.

No the point I’m making is you can use stats to show anything. I’m not arguing the points you’re making aren’t correct.

but you’re using results against whole top half to make a prediction for 3 games.

Im using results against those 3 teams to make a prediction on those 3 games.

Both are legit ways. Both may be right. Both may be totally wrong. Football isn’t played on last form so it’s all just talk at the end of the day

Perhaps, but they didn't outplay us - it was our own profligacy that cost us the game, so that extra incentive wasn't the crucial factor.

    absolutely.

Once we had tje lead at worst all we needed to do was sit in shape and wait for them to make an error and at best we should have gone for the jugular.

we did neither. we took the same risks with no intent to actually score.

the sad truth is chasing it is better for us than leading

I find it amusing how many Man Utd fans I've seen claiming it wasn't a penalty. He didn't get the ball and, granted, doesn't get the man with the initial challenge, but he takes Elliott's leg in the follow through.

So; he's missed the ball and got the man (eventually) but it's not a penalty? <laugh>

It was a bit lucky in the sense that Elliot is falling before there's contact, so he is looking for it, but there was still proper contact that would have happened if Elliot hadn't gone down. As opposed to, say, Saka last night, where there was only contact because Saka stuck his leg out.
