Millwall beat Leicester, Leeds still drawing. Lots of ups and downs till the end of season. They will have the ups, we will have the Downes. Drum roll, bish!
Why are people always shocked when the losing team starts ramping up the pressure on the team that's in front? That's just football. Teams play more cautiously when level, then go for it when behind. Obviously Cov started getting a few half-chances. We were still playing better than them and creating more. Was a good game, made a decent team look extremely average for most of the game.
Yeah which makes the Easter weekend even more annoying. Win those games like we should’ve done (or even kept a draw against Ipswich and beat Boro) and the table looks very different
Yep. Still we've got another 2 home games in a row before the trips to Cardiff and Leicester. Need to focus on winning those and see where we are this time next week.
Yeah it’s just about winning now, build some momentum for the playoffs and if the other teams choke then who knows
Stop talking as if there is a glimmer of hope - we have no chance now, the boro and ipswich games saw to that. Even if we caught Leeds, Ipswich arent going to slip up in 3 of their last 5. Just need to focus on keeping everyone fit and going into the play offs with a bit of form.
I had given up but the results tonight have just opened the door very slightly. I'm not 100% giving up until it's mathematically impossible. I just see it as the pressure is on the other 3 teams and if we keep winning then you never know.
We have to win all of our games. Absolutely all of them. To have half a chance. The Blackburn result could even end up being the costly one!
Even if we just drew to Ipswich. We would be 6 points behind them with a game in hand and 8 points behind Leeds with 2 games in hand. I know each team has their own versions of these but the 2 games over Easter and the draw at home to Rotherham really stick in the mind - on the flip side we’ve also had our fair share of last minute goals so it’s probably more than levelled out
