You would get out at intervals and have a shower but I think it was warm. You would also drink beer at intervals. They had No. 1, No. 2 and No. 4 based on the beer's strength. There was no No. 3!
I remember once I was in bed waiting for her to use the shower room. When she came into the bedroom she burst out laughing. I wondered why she was laughing and then she indicated my hard on sticking through the covers!
In Finland, in an attempt to not get too drunk they would have a beer and next they would have a litre of water before another beer.

Some Hungarian politician when asked in some EU survey about the drinking habits of Hungarians and how much beer they drank replied beer was what they drank to sober up.
I've been to Finland many times and been in many saunas (private, public, hotels). Probably 100+ times. And I can tell you that is definitely NOT what they do!
are you mad? I tell one story about a sauna and I tell another story about pubs you mix them together and disagree with something I never said
Apologies if I got 2 stories mixed up. I can't see any story about pubs. Anyway, the point still stands. Whether it's sauna's or pubs, the Finns do NOT "... have a beer and next they would have a litre of water before another beer". That is absolute bollox.
so why did it happen many times in pubs when I was there and my Finnish friends advised me to do it? you are talking bollocks if you say it never happened I agree I didnt mention pubs but that is where most people drink obviously when people are at home they dont need to drink water because they just go back into the sauna where they are not drinking beer when you are in a pub you have less alternative options it's very weird if you think you can be so sure it never happens
I'm currently having an electric charger fitted and take delivery of my electric car next week. Thought this thread might offer some useful tips and advice. This is not the content I was looking for.
It came across to me as if you were suggesting it was the norm for Finns. It really isn't! I'm not saying it never happens. I believe you when you say your friends advised you to do it. Your sample size? a bunch of friends you met on a visit My sample size. Probably thousands during many dozens of trips over many years and literally hundreds of visits to saunas, pubs, restaurants, private houses, etc. Anyway , on with the day .....
How is drinking a litre of water every beer even possible on an evenings session - you'll spend the evening pissing and then die from water poisoning. What did you buy?
