That's the equivalent of me pulling up a video of Joelinton missing an own goal two years ago and saying "sell him, he sucks!"
It's a debate about if he ever recovers from it. He still looks out of shape, off the pace and uninterested. Players show how much they truly want to play the game when it comes to recovering from bad injuries, they either can be arsed, or they can't.
Hmmmm he was motm vs wolves mind which wasn't long ago. It can take a good period of time to get upto speed. He's obviously still got problems with the injury and that kinda explains why his performances dropped following that game. If he's still here next season we should expect to see him back to his best and make a judgement Unlike longstaff he has proven he's good enough.
He'll be with us for years and we will see about it. Pointless speculation and pointless going down memory lane Right now he's **** and I hope he improves, preferably next week
"OOoo click me, click me someone, please. Care somebody, please care... Pathetic." Anyone who's listened to the Ricky Gervais podcast
Agreed. I'm creaming at the idea of fully fit Bruno, Joelinton and Tonali next season as our midfield 3. We'll be able to get back to raping teams in midfield again, which will leave our defence less exposed. I hope we manage to convince trippier to stay also. We just need another quality CB, LB, CF and back up striker, although part of me fears they'll not prioritise LB again and just say we have enough cover in Burn, Tino and Hall.
Arguably just as important as Bruno. We look way more exposed without him. Contributes defensive work with his pace, energy, strength and tackling, plus his runs with the ball, the odd goal and dribbles into the box.
Attacking wise, get a world class right winger and we would have some midfield 3 and front 3 when all fit. Bruno Tonali Joelinton (new RW) Isak Gordon Willock, Anderson and Barnes give some depth and rotation. Another striker obviously needed, actually two.
I like him. But he’s a bit of a diver. Imagine Bruno Joelinton and Paqueta. A full international midfield.
