Domino pairs is a real game of skill. There were a pair of twins in Kilmarnock who were so good that no-one would play them, they thought they were cheating somehow. They weren't. I played against them, and one of them could tell me what dominoes I had after the first couple of rounds.
Talking of cheating, remember who said "I knew you were cheating cos those weren't the cards I dealt you"? Possibly my favourite episode.

Similar to the brilliant scene in The Sting where Paul Newman’ character cheats Robert Shaw’s, who himself was cheating Newman’s.
    Brilliant scene and film.
Jacks and 9’s in The Sting, Kings and Aces for Boyce and Del <laugh><laugh><laugh>

On a games theme, I was thinking about a couple of 'Top Trumps' style card packs, of Charlton Athletic players...
    • TOP TRUMPS - our 52 best ever players <ok>
    • TOP CHUMPS - our 52 worst ever players <doh>
With the worst ever players, the poorest stat would win <laugh>
Suggestions for our 52 best or worst players are welcome...

Chuks could appear in both sets.

Most goals scored from the bench.

    Most games missed through injury.

Alas Camara would only feature in the latter

Risk is a blast, but I totally get what you mean about the heated arguments! It's one of those games that can really get the adrenaline pumping.
As for Articulate, I've heard great things about it. It's a perfect game for getting everyone involved and keeping the energy up. Personally, I love games that get everyone laughing and engaged, so Articulate sounds right up my alley.
When I'm looking for a new board game to try, I usually turn to recommendations from friends or online reviews. It's a great way to discover hidden gems you might not have heard of otherwise. If you're ever stuck for a game to play, why not give a coin flip generator a try? Sometimes, leaving it up to fate can lead to some surprising and enjoyable choices.

    Welcome Alannah.

Only been playing Articulate for about two years but it has already become a favourite in our house.

Yes, welcome to the CAFC forum here on Not606 @AlannahRamos

I hugely enjoyed playing Risk as a youngster, though the game is much more fun in its early stages especially when more than two players are involved. Once one player begins to dominate they become unstoppable however, which is the game's only weakness in my view.

I've never played Articulate. Will have to look it up on the interweb...
