I see Patty is still in the massive minority. It's been a long 24 hours ain't it? Allam's Out. Happy anniversary Guys n Gals, Here's to the next 113 years. God I'll be a grumpy old bugger by then.
Crikey, how time flies (boss walk jam nitty gritty) I wonder how many years it is until that report or dossier by John from Walkington is declassified?
Just got an email update from the UK Intellectual Property Office, re an application I filed for Hull Tigers back in 2013 (my failed attempt at stopping the Allams from using the name - it got spotted and blocked and now belongs to City) Trade mark number UK00003035598 Status Registered View historic details Display content without tabs Overview List of goods and services Names and addresses Publications Trade mark HULL TIGERS Dates Filing date 19 December 2013 Date of entry in register 23 May 2014 Renewal date 19 December 2033
Funny how some people get upset about sod things being altered but not others We didn’t have the name of the club on the badge until 1979. The first ever badge was the three coronets in 1936 when we played in a blue and white kit. Then after the war we had just a tiger’s head. Then nothing, then just a tiger’s head again before having the name on in 1979. I would be quite happy with just a tiger’s head. But a better, more ferocious looking one than the one we have now. We don’t need our name on particularly, we know who we are and the teams we are playing do.
Yes, I do get 'upset' about it. Angry is a better word. Imo, the current badge is ****e! It's nothing. Just like there's nothing special, as in to brag about, with 1904. Many clubs were formed well before 1904. But of more importance is the point that the current badge was borne out of the Allam's spitefulness. Nothing more. While ever it remains it will unfortunately be associated with them and their spiteful actions. We had near perfection and the vengeful twats took it away from the fans. We are Hull City AFC. The Tigers. We should have the old badge that shouted that out loud and proud to the world.
