it's.more about his players being targeted.

a league and Cup double in Germany plus a brave but futile loss to us in the europa league final will put some in the shop window.

only time will tell what team he has going forward.

no other coach would make it because they are not him

rafa couldn't make it. we would listen to King Kenny making it now.

Rodgers would have been laughed out the door.

One of the pubs near me was converted into said dwellings a few years back, another one bit the dust due to covid.
The surviving ones are still fairly, erm... basic.
There's a golf club and a sailing club that are a bit more civilised.

I'd be lying if I said I was any kind of expert on Amorim. I've only watched Sporting once, when they beat Spurs a couple of years back, but I've heard good things about his management style and I do like the idea of him working with our predominantly Portuguese league based strikeforce.

Really we can only go off some general analysis

A lot tells us he is a 343 merchant

This tells us players like konate, qunasah and gomez suit him perfectly. VVD would be the central player in this. Instantly thats errors like man utd goal against gone

We should then see 4 players pressing up. when we don't ahve the ball and 4 for long balls to be hit over the top as well. this is a huge part of current anorim systems it seems.

Then theres nunez who seems to suit him nicely.

In short it seems we should be thinking about this system as similar to when we find an endo sitting between vvd and konate. however its not a 6 dropping in it will be a vvd in there centrally to play balls and we all know what he can do.

there would be a double pivot CM system and macca would be perfect. Who the **** the other will be I don't know. endo is endo and might be the start off but i don't think

    Imagine this

    Alisson
    Konate VVD Gomez
    Endo Macca
    Trent Robertson
    Salah Nunez diaz
    Now the questions start arising

Trent is let just go mad high. robertson is asked to actually defend more. This is what we always did anyway. Anorim would suit this. Bradely would probably be alright at this. the problems start with tsimikas.

then we have loads of cms that won't suit this. Elliott, where is the RCM or 10 role? Does jones suit a hodling role? not really.

What about szobo? Does he got to Lw like for hungary or some such role?

Diaz, jota would be fine for this system.

I don't think he needs a lot of players bought but i can see him having a few players he doesn;t have a slot for, some adaptation of players will be required.

E.g elliott running away from goal rather than behind is no good to this guy by the look of it. Elliott drops deep, he does fine doing it as well but he is not on the line running behind.

E.g. jones who likes ot hold the ball ofr ever and also likes to get in at fat post. he is simply not a double pivot cm. Ever will be.

then as we move through the kids we've seen as well clark is another adpated to 433 sider 8 type player moving from 10/LW.

I've said before it might seem a bit odd but I'd be more optimistic about a manager I know little about than any of the ones I am familiar with. None of the candidates trotted about by the media convince me that they could go anywhere near replacing Klopp.
Alonso's rejection sent me back to forlornly wishing JK would have a change of heart. That won't happen, so I'm left hoping I'll be pleasantly surprised by a new up-and-coming talent.

Or he plays that way because that’s the players he has and it suits them and the league and once he moves to lfc with the current players available to uses his absolute to adjust that tactic to suit the players he has
