    Sorry, I wasn't clear mate.

They haven't said it but they're admitting they made a huge mistake by imposing a 10 point deduction. It took them forever to make the decision after Everton's finances had been forensically examined by top accountants.

How could it have been correct then, but only weeks later, incorrect ...

    ... it can't be both.

If that was Luton, Burnley etc it would've been tough ****. Error? so give them enough to just to rap their knuckles so they stay in the league. It absolutely stinks and I hope others have the same opinion of a club that's cheated. Could've relegated a club? Rules are rules but I suppose they're there to be smashed in this case. **** club with **** fans. I remember when the away fans were in the south stand, a little lass, probably 10 if she was a day, hurling foul disgusting abuse loaded with venom toward the Sunderland fans while the adult with her thought it was funny.

What a mess football has gotten itself into ...

... this season could end without knowing who's actually been relegated.

Like VAR but even worse <doh>

SO Forest avoided a six point deduction that was reduced to four because of their 'early plea' and 'cooperation'.

So now they're pleading again and not cooperating.

"Nottingham Forest have lodged an appeal against their four-point deduction for breaching Premier League profit and sustainability rules, the club has confirmed.

An independent commission found that Forest's losses to 2022-23 breached the threshold of £61m by £34.5m."

Everton keeping my dream alive <laugh>

Managed to claw back 4 points off the pitch ...

... just can't manage it on the pitch.

They have some really difficult games including 'six pointers' and the Liverpool Derby. It amazes me how weak and heartless under Dyche ...

... even Pickford looks shot to pieces.

    Everton v Burnley today!
    • Everton's last league victory at Goodison Park was the 2-0 win against Chelsea on 10th December.
    Should be interesting.

They probably waited until Everton actually won a game before docking more points to lessen the effect.

It would be harder to do a less corrupt fix if you tried, and lads on here want to get back to that s hit show. It would be nice if the league pulled away completely for good so there is no promotion except within our leagues, have a completely new competition. Wonder how long premiership fans would enjoy the same teams year after year.
    F uck them!

The PL needs to introduce a proper framework and structure to PSR and the punishments. This nonsense of points deductions mid-season followed by appeals etc etc needs to stop.
There needs to be a set punishment for any breach, with possibly a sliding scale of points dependent on how big a breach. We could quite conceivably had a PL season finished, but the relegation places not decided for weeks and weeks whilst clubs appeal and counter-appeal.

    Very, very messy business

Punishing Everton and Forest is fine if they've cheated ...

... but they should punish everyone to be fair.

2 more points is a joke of a punishment.

Might as well just let them all crack on
