Went out for tapas last night, then to a newish bar, £3.80 for some very nice Salopian Hop Twister beers. They had a singer/ acoustic playing girl on, she did a decent mix of songs but had the knack of singing them as though they were the same song, with that stupid tone a lot of the young girls sing with nowadays

The guy running through Africa will finish today, crazy stuff.

 

Known as the "Hardest Geezer", Russ Cook is set to finish running the entire length of Africa, having started his epic journey nearly one year ago. Starting at the southern tip of South Africa on April 22, 2023, Russ Cook, is expected to finish his 9,000 mile route through 16 countries on Sunday.

 

Yeah I remember him starting the epic run, the adventures were followed on twitter, then I saw SKY pick the story up today.

Everyday for like a year and a marathon distance everyday. But yes it's okay.

Had quite a lot of time stuck at borders particularly early on when there wasn’t much coverage I believe so ended up doing well over a marathon often. It’s a mental achievement and for months he wasn’t getting a lot of attention.
