Ha yes - what an ending .

Not the first time for Man U either .

Kind of sums up both teams really .

Where would Chelsea be without Palmer ?!

Keeping Poch in a job .

This article, with the associated charts, displays the huge gulf between the large clubs and the smaller ones. Any team like Watford or Norwich will struggle in the transition from Championship to PL simply because the owners pockets are not quite deep enough. Of course Leicester spent, but didn't survive.

Fulham look to be an odd case - third lowest annual wage bill, lowest average weekly wages, but well and truly highest in terms of wages as a percentage of income. You'd think something has to give there...

Another former EPL club hits the buffers.

Torquay United have confirmed the appointment of administrators. The National League South club had already been deducted 10 points after revealing their notice to appoint administrators at the end of February.

Serves them right. In my career as a Watford supporter, the police have tried three times to eject me from a stadium - Torquay is the only one where they succeeded. They may have done me a favour though - we lost the game 1-0.

Looks like Rotherham have just 30 minutes of Championship football left - trailing 0-1 at home to Plymouth. Possibly a stay of execution for Plymouth...

    Yes .

Been a miserable season for Rotherham.

Plymouth needed that win big time .

Norwich leading 1-0 in the Six Finger derby - opening the door for both Leeds and Leicester to leapfrog Ipswich at the top of the table.

So despite being a goal down, Ipswich still play the possession game slowly, giving Norwich time to pull all their defenders back.

Edinburgh City v Montrose match abandoned after 23 minutes due to strong winds.
Those pre-match curries must be powerful things.

Gary Lineker said there should be an appeals system for VAR.

How many would they have and want though ?

We could be there all day !

And doesn’t mean we would get the “right decision “ of course.

Still be down to the VAR and ref to make a decision subjectivity.

Very true - and the fans would still be arguing. As a case in point, this was from the St. Mirren v Hearts game yesterday - the ref said no penalty, then checked the monitor and said no penalty again. It does look like one of those 'maybe, maybe not' situations, but the general feeling is that if it had happened to Rangers or Celtic, a penalty would have been awarded straight away.
Just one of those instances which reinforce my thoughts that VAR should be scrapped.

It's just another ref making a subjective view really.

in this case the ref stick by his decision but usually they don't as feel under pressure to correct themselves.
