I was in the South Stand and, on 80 minutes, loads got up ...

... I'd heard noises upstairs and thought the City lot were throwing things <laugh>

It’s frustrating we didn’t win with the chances we had today but every other thread is “1 win in 10” “5 points from 30”. It’s been a very tough few months and very frustrating that we’ve let the season unravel but stamping your feet won’t change what’s happened.

hopefully we can get a few wins to end the season positively.

I thought it was the right sub, we weren't far off from getting a goal and he seemed the right choice given his experience and knack for popping up in the right place, nearly paid off.

I wouldn't start him though, or rather I would if he was fit but unfortunately he isn't. Only player on the pitch today with a gut.

He wasn't happy - usually he's all smiles as he goes into the dressing room - today he looked at the camera and turned away.
I really don't understand why we are persisting with Burstow, as others have said Tommy Watson should be in the squad ahead of him.

Big Sam always say, don't put young lads in the firing line if their confidence is low.
Get them going again before they get brought back.

So frustrating that we had Simms, I think everyone agreed that 5 mil was too much at the time though but that we’d all have him back. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

We need someone like him or Keifer and just watch our youngling strikers learn and come through better.

We probably spent close to 5m on hemir rusyn mayenda and whatever loan fee we paid for Burstow, hindsight is great and I’m 99% sure I’d have been in the 5m is too much club at the time but **** me I wish we had Simms now!

Absolutely right. At the time lots said if was too expensive. I disagree. It was a few mill up front and add ons. Going rate for a player like him. What we have instead is pure trash with same outlay. Bad business.

Hopefully the Clarke money has us shopping for players in the bracket now

Hope so. Just good quality UK players who can cope with the robustness of this league. Not not Alfredo Montpellier from the french third tier.

I thought Roberts looked a lot better yesterday.
    Alese was very good.
    Ekwah had a good game.
Clarke is a level above and looked very confident.

Has Rigg ever played out wide regularly before I think not, he needs to be introduced into his natural position for me even starting there and giving him 60 mins as he looks a box to box player to me. More so than Ba AA or Ekwah all of whom I also like and think should be part of our future, just how it will pan out individually is anybody's guess atm, but we have some special talent there, sadly with hindsight recruitment has been poor up front, easy to see now with hindsight, I am sure it will be fixed in the summer, if so that and a decent coach, should have this squad flying OaU.,

Agree with most of the above. My only gripe is Roberts is right up there with getting past players etc but rarely is there a decent end product.

Got a reaction yesterday. Good 1st half a quieter 2nd half but we had enough chances to put that game to bed yesterday.
I thought Ekwah had his best game for a while and was more physical than he has been in the past. It was good to see.
Alese looked very assured when he came on. Good to have him back.
As CF stated Clarke is a level above and for that reason I fear we will lose him in the summer. Hope not though.
