Very lacklustre but the game was essentially won on two moments of extreme good fortune. No use overreacting, we know this team has days like this and sometimes Marti's magic deserts him. Its still very much in our hands and couple of months ago we'd have taken being in this position at this stage no questions asked.

A good one to miss. Realistically those teams below us with games against each other aren’t all picking up 6+ points in five games so think we’re sound with one more win and if we can’t get that in the next two we deserve to go down. 46 points now is beyond my wildest dreams when Cifuentes took over.

Have a pleasant evening all. Off to get ****ed in Athens.

Good perspective but still thoroughly annoying.

I'll be glad when Bannan retires!

That saves me writing a summary. The only quibble is that you decided someone on the pitch was worse than Willock which is hard to believe. Major f*&# up by Cifuentes who spent 15 minutes after half time staring at his notes rather than making the changes so obviously needed.

I genuinely think Willock was better than Andersen, who didn't put any effort in at all and constantly gave the ball away.
We can't play Andersen and Willock together.

I agree with the sentiment, but I just don't understand why we were so passive.
We deserved to lose and never looked like picking up the pace. We were second to every single second ball and I'm just pissed off that they always seem to do this when I'm there.

Brilliant!

I was worried that all the jeopardy would be gone from the rest of the season and the games would be meaningless and boring. Now we still have at least a couple more cup finals!

We were piss poor and Wednesday, a horrible team to play against, did a number on us with their bunch of giants and instant pressing of the ball. But we should have been able to figure something out.

Another disappointing loss against a relegation rival, if we'd drawn the games we've lost against bottom six rivals we'd be safe. Very frustrating, Plymouth a massive test now...

Unbelievable
Tell you what eased the pain for me. I was still enjoying the after effects of a pre match Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure #1 that some nice bloke sent me from afar. Underestimated the time it would take me to smoke so had to sacrifice one pint, but two was fine as I had to drive today.

Cheers!

I suspected that it wasn't going to be our day when our players emerged from the tunnel wearing flip flops and a bottle of sun tan lotion in one hand and a beach towel in the other.

That was a tough one to sit through, the team othered nothing. Magical Marti obviously left his top hat and wand at his casa because all of his attempts ( ahem ) to change the game resulted in zero improvement. Not one single player scored more than a four by my reckoning and not one single player left the pitch with any creditability. I thought we reached a low when we lost 0-2 at home to Boro but this one has trumped it. Completely ****ing awful day except for the company in the bar before the game. We'd of been better off staying there.

Felt very sorry for you to make the effort and the expense to be served that. Plymouth a biggie now but confidence will be rocked.

I tell you, Stevie Wonder could see this loss coming.
A team without a win, a team well below us, a team entrenched in the relegation zone.
Of course, we were going to lose.
We lost.
Hope we play Leicester next week.

Remarkable that you could single Andersen out from that shower of ****. He was fairly poor, but so were the rest of them. He did at least come closest to scoring. Willock shouldn't start any of the remaining games
