Certain attributes are required to be successful in the championship. Not all players in Turkish Super Lig have it. It's not just the technical ability. You've got to look at whether or not they can still do it when under a lot of pressure and with much more limited time and space.

And whether they can run to relentlessly get back in position when out of possession.

Really good performance. Can we do the same at home. Two wins from next two needed to keep us in it.

If he adds a bit more end product then he could be scary good.

Unlucky not to bag today though.

I think he need not worry about end product for now. His second phase ability is incredible. The ability to make that transition from the middle third to the final third just keeps us ticking. Would happily see him central midfield of a 3.

Oh, it's not intended as a criticism at all. But if he adds that he could be a top, top player.

What happened with Valon Ethemi btw? I remember you telling me we put a bid in. He ended up going from İstanbulspor to Konyaspor on loan in the winter window.

Boro and Coventry games are going to be pivotal, we still have to hope Norwich drop points somewhere too.

It should have been 4 - 1 jadens 1 on 1 with the keeper, he did look and see Seri running in like Usain bolt on wizz. All he had to do was pass the ball in front of him.

    Just got back.

    Sexball goals.

    Good crack.

Another new(ish) soulless stadium bereft of atmosphere.

    Thank **** for City support.

    It’s still on.

Couldn't agree on a fee. Done okay, two goals and four assists in 25 games.

The perfect result Liam deserved after a tough week, controlled the game for the most past, and played some lovely football at times.

Omur was outstanding, closely followed by Carvalho and Tufan, that combination is starting to work. Great to see Jaden look more like his old self, and Morton again was very good in midfield along with Seri.

The quality of both Carvalho's finishes was top, the technic for his volley for the first one, and I loved the way when put through he totally bamboozled the keeper by initially looking as if he was going to hit it with his left foot and let it go onto is right and then put it away, top class finish.

If we can play like that Wednesday/Saturday and get 6 points, then the outside chance of us making the playoff's might be still on.

Finally, what a lovely gesture by a fan to give Liam the sign, you clearly see how much that meant to him and seeing the fans are right behind him.
