That’s what we pay Billy Sharp for. Our younger players just don’t know how to tie their laces and run the clock down a bit.
Looked to me early on that this game was made for Connolly. No wonder he looks issued off. Odd what's going on with him?
I mean I know Seri can’t usually hit the target, but I think even he’d have managed it if Philogene had passed to him there!
I think Seri didn't quite have the pace to keep a great angle open so when Jaden had his final look up he didn't feel confident enough in squaring the ball, he should have put it away though but did excellent to fashion the chance.
Philogene being incredibly selfish there. A goal and assist isn’t anything to sniff at. Instead he got greedy and wanted the goal himself even though Seri was wide open for a tap-in into an empty net. I’ve just had a look at the final run-in of games for teams chasing the play-offs, including Norwich. Norwich have the easiest run, Coventry have a couple of difficult games but we have to play Boro, Cov, Watford and Ipswich which are all tough games.
Not when there’s a tap in to lay it off to. If we were drawing we’d want Phil’s head on a spike right now.
Another good win away from home, would of been nice to get one more goal but can not be too greedy, let’s hope we save it for Wednesday night!
