Didn’t he used to play for us? Anyway, This season is one of those rare ones for us as we don’t have anything to play for. No chance of promotion or relegation. So. I think Pembele should be given a run in the team (and Hume could go LB) to see what we’ve actually got. Also, a couple of our own young’uns should be given some game time. If we lose then our supporters will see if the players have been trying or not and if they have given their all we will not criticise them. If they don’t put a shift in then they deserve to get boo’ed. We don’t really expect anything from the Leeds/WBA games but we want a performance. If Pembele plays but is a bit rusty but the next time he plays he shows an improvement then that’s what we want.
If fans around the country saw Sunderland fans protesting, at the SOL, they'd universally either think 'Wow what's happened there' or 'Self entitled tossers' imo ... ... I doubt there's a single person who'd think, 'Fair play to them, it's a disgrace what's happening at that club!'
Think we'll get beat today. I want to see players who haven't really featured that much playing, the likes of Pembele need game time to see if they are up for next season.

There's absolutely no reason not to go for goals today ... ... nothing to lose and some people travelling long distances. Anyone who was there on Monday deserves to see us attack attack attack!!!

Totally agree. We've been so badly ran for years and we are in a miles better place for the first time in forever. Yeah there's been slip ups this season but still, investment being made for improvements next season off the field and I fully expect on the field will be good again next season.
