When you cancel you seats you have to wait until everyone who wants to renew have done Then you can pick your seats off what is left You can’t cancel and renew straight away
Yeah so if you want different seats you have to wait our seats are not the best however if we had cancelled we would have had to wait and possibly get worse seats So we just renewed and stayed were we are at we’ve been there for years
Aye the clubs being run so badly - I don't buy the amazing achievement of getting safc out of league 1 - that's a basic minimum that should happen naturally eventually anyway. The fiasco of not being able to get a strip for my grandson at his 1st game earlier this season, the joke managerial appointments of Beale and the seemingly unsackable Dodds/Proctor combo as well as writing off 3 months of this season and the utter disgrace of the way they handled the fa cup game. Have only been to Mondays game since February despite having a SC and been going since 1976/77 season - we are that peed off its actually saddening. My son and his mate are just as apathetic at the minute which is also sad.
Yeah I understand your feelings and it’s not been great of late infact quite a few years now However I feel (hope) there will be some good times to come Been to the games since the early 60s seen it all few ups and a lot of downs let’s just look forward
We failed to get out of league one under the previous regime, new regime came in and it was almost instant so that deserves credit, as does stabilising us as a championship side which, if you look at precedent, is a hard thing to do. Also made the playoffs first season back. Feel like a broken record saying this but we have spent the most money ever within 2 years of being promoted from league one looking at all the info I can find. Not sure how that means we are being run badly. When the accounts come out fairly soon they will show we are being run very well actually. Kit situation is the old regimes fault, which is being corrected this year with a new deal. You can't just get out of contracts. You've still never explained why you want Dodds sacked. He's not a head coach, everyone agrees, but he's a top quality coach. Beale was a bad appointment. If you have been going since the 70s as you claim he's not even close to being the worst though. Why did you not quit going in the league one days under SD and CM when we were coming mid table under Parkinson? Are you seriously suggesting we are in a worse position now?
I'll explain - dodds being guaranteed the 1st team assistant job and seemingly unsackable undermines whoever they install as head coach for a few reasons - notably he has speakmans ear who hires/fires. Doesn't need to be sacked just moved back into his development position. He can't step up to the head coach position adequately - he's proven that. Yes we've had bad times under Buxton, Mcmenemy, parkinson and grayson etc of course - this just feels as bad or worse because there was something to build on and they've not done that - it's a similar feeling to when we were 2nd at Xmas under Reid and fell away after not buying in the January's and were relegated 2 seasons later. It was all in place to kick on.

Yeah I agree we have been close to kicking on to the next level a few times Then not took the opertunity to do so is that down to bad management or bad luck Or not even wanting too Who knows
You’re bang on mate. Pisses me off listening to old timers referring to Sunderland going through a bad spell in the 70s/80s therefore we should just accept absolute ****e now because it’s better than what it once was. People pay good money to go and watch their club whilst giving up what’s normally one of their only two days off every week and they’re entitled to their own opinion/expectations. We aren’t Scunthorpe United we’re a fairly big club so this notion that getting out of L1 was some sort of achievement is embarrassing. I’ll probably renew again but I’m having to try and battle for my own seat I’ve held for years, which I more than likely won’t get because it’s in the south stand, because of a massive ticket office cock up that they held no accountability for. Basically cancelled my ticket through their own error (that they still refuse to accept responsibility for) and sold it straight on to someone else who bought a part season card.
How is he guaranteed it? He wasn't assistant under Johnson, Neil or Mowbray. Neil wanted to take him to Stoke as assistant though. Yeah this season has been **** and boring but its one season and everyone will be better off for it. Its year 3 of a 5 year plan, it was never going to be easy.
just a rememinder that DD deadline is Wednesday 17th April 4pm Direct Debit Information on Season Tickets - SAFC
