Well let’s see how today goes. Looking forward to some positive mind sets today with plenty of educational banter. The inflation here is going to rise like the Mackems in the championship.
The officials can't stop our side managing a game properly for once... this team needs to learn how to see games out.
It's bewildering tactics at times... they fanny around when they need a 2nd and go all out late in games when it's time to shut up Shop.
Like we did against West Ham despite the ref finding an extra 2 and a half minutes on top of the allotted 8 minutes of added time with no subs, injuries or stoppages in that added time
The number of times this side has thrown away points late in games this season is ridiculous. It's something that needs working on for sure. West Ham was one time it worked....the only time they've come from behind to win aswel.
So are you trying to say you think this is a manager issue? or are you trying to say we need far better strength in depth?
Do you not think more strength in depth would cure the manager's problem? I know Roly's been desperate for 4-2-3-1 since forever but the simple fact is we don't have the players for it. We need the players to be able to alter the formation at times though.
No necessarily no that's just more fuel for the flames. I don't think Newcastle are very good at game management regardless. Obviously it would help which is why I'm being fair in saying both.... there's never or very rarely only one reason for something.
