Going Bangladeshi tonight. Opted for the Chicken Tikka Shatkora, Lemon Pilau and Chilli Naan. Onion bhaji starter.

Terrible selection. Didn’t enjoy it. The curry is really citrusy which is nice so I thought the Lemon Pilau would complement it well. It was way too strong. Won’t do that again. Onion bhajis were nice, though.

Was excellent, will go back. The 2nd pic was a spiced cumin lamb and was incredible.

Has anyone done sous vide before?

    Is it any good?

Bought a machine a couple of weeks ago and not used it yet.

Got a rolled brisket in the fridge, gonna set it away tomorrow for 48 hours and see what happens.

Not sure of a brisket would be best, would it get hot enough to melt fat/make tasty?? Give it a blast and let me know, always thought it would be great method for summer BBQ steaks, just add that final sear and never overcooked.

Yeah, I was after a chuck roast but the butcher didn't have any.
You're right about the temp having to be higher with a brisket, around 155 and then finished in the oven or in your case finished on the smoker/bbq.

Gonna follow this recipe, seems to know what he's on about.

Forgot about this during the latest football debacle last night, but this is another air fryer effort.
Rib eye, roast puds, cauliflower cheese.

I've got the steak cooking sorted, although I didn't rest it properly in my haste to eat it.

The spuds were so so. The cauliflower was Tesco finest , so not prepared by me anyway, but very tasty.

Steak looks nice enough but what is the advantage of cooking it in an air fryer?

There isn't one other than I wasn't at home so had no access to an actual kitchen.

The only plus to an air fryer over oven and hob etc is it's small and I can use at work. That's it.
