Can i just let the Bristol City fans know that even though he has started the season in fine form,no way should you just be thinking about lambert! before his hatrick last week ha hadn't scored for a few games and we've won the last four! He is mightily important for us but we do have a few other talented players you should be worrying about,as saints do with Bristol City players.I find a few comments daft like Bristol currently have the most exciting team in the championship at the moment, really? my advice to you is don't get carried away after winning the last couple of games, maybe when you are sitting top with the best scoring record, most wins (2 more than 2nd place,4 more than 3rd) and many big scorelines to your name you will be qualified to! Confidence comes with being top!
Red Robin is er......whats the word.......oh yeah arrogant. You're in the bottom 3, have the worst home record in the Championship. Granted you're in good form but so are Saints. We're unbeaten in 8, won our last 4, have the best attack in the Championship. Red Robin somehow thinks that they are favourites! And if you stop Lambert there is also the small matter of Lallana (one of if not the best player in the Championship), Guly, Cork, De Ridder and Barnard (off the bench)
Think we could see a goal again coming from our back four. Added to one from Adam to make us winners by 2 goals.
Lets wait and see,AS SAID SAINTS ARE THERE ON MERIT,but we are bang on form, will be a great game to watch.
This is brilliant! Bristol City fans telling the team who are 5 points clear at the top of the league, that they are getting ahead of themselves!. Who are you anyway? BANG on Form four games unbeaten is it? Jokers
Well at odd of 3/1 (no other home team in the Championship today has those sort of odds), you Bristol City who are confident of win should be sticking a few quid on. Saints are a rubbish 10/11 - nowhere near enough to tempt me.
Odds are rubbish and yet loads of people are pouring money onto Saints according to oddschecker. Suppose it's worth it if you can take the small risk that Saints will lose and put enough money on. Not much in it for the usual £5-20 bet.
'This is brilliant! Bristol City fans telling the team who are 5 points clear at the top of the league, that they are getting ahead of themselves!. Who are you anyway? BANG on Form four games unbeaten is it? Jokers" Ha ****ing brillant! and they use the word arrogant. you were league one nobodies last year. You may have noticed that at some point you turned your form from absolute **** to good. this is possible for all the teams in the championship including us.
We were never ****e. 27 Years in top league. Play offs in 1st Championship season. Poor few years with financial problems which meant we sold good players and changed managers too often. Good 1st year in League 1...finished 7th after starting with -10 and winning JPT (which was great fun). Finished 2nd in 2nd year in League 1 despite poor start. Now top of Championship by 5 points. So have done quite well over last 30 years. Personally, not one to jump up and down about lack of respect (we're not Blackpool or Brighton!). We'll do our talking on the pitch. You're having a good period now you have a decent manager..good luck to you. A loss will not ruin or define a season for either team.
If by being in league 1 that means you are a nobody (i.e. not in the PL) then we are Championship nobodys this year As for at some time we turned our form arouns? Yes it was called selling the whole team and starting afresh. It wasn't just a change of manager, it was a complete change of playing staff. Then the change of Manager to Adkins turned us from quite good to very good. Your manager has turned you from poor to quite good however lets not get carried away with the 'we are the team in form' statements. If you were playing a team with middling form then yes by all means tell them you are favourites however you are playing a team that is absolute on form with 5 of the top 10 scorers in the division yet thinking we are a one man team. lol Take Lamberts pens away and he is basically on a par with the other 4 scorers in our team however we have goals and asist throughout the first team. Saying that I think it will be tight today, after all we are away and you are home. Still think we will win though.
Sorry Fran but have to point out it was 2nd season in Championship we got to the play offs. I understand why City fans are confident as they have hit form, but we are also in great form, should be a good game, and could be interesting on here tomorrow what ever the score. City 1-3 Saints Guly 16' Lallana 45' Maynard 78' Lambo 89'
**** off twat - no need to come gloating is there? enjoy league 1 next year wont you whose top of the league?
And i shall give you a lesson in football. We're TOP of the league. Your just outside the RELEGATION zone. Come back and talk ****e when your top kthx.
