As others have said, the next 3 are massive. I honestly believe if we win all 3 (which is a huge ask) we could find ourselves within a win of 6th place. Obviously we then have to fave coventry and Ipswich. So a huge ask. But think we have an opportunity to get right in the mix. Back the bid!!!!!
Off the back of 6 games without a win (and 2 shots on target in the last 2? It's surely beyond huge!!!!
I just think it comes down to whether we can find a way to win at home. Probably beyond huge as you say. Not letting Rosenior off the hook, but maybe some of the players need to take ownership on the pitch and make it happen. I don't think we have enough (vocal) leaders on the pitch. I personally think we will fall short. Just think we win the next 3 and we will have a sniff.
It’s funny that actually as we’ve probably had better performances in the winless in 6. Swansea, Millwall, Sunderland and Huddersfield were shocking team performances. Southampton was top. Rotherham was gritty but when you look at results around our performance we seemed to make hard work of that which like you’ve reiterated a lot recently sums up our main issue.
Clearly a must win game now if we are to have any chance of making the top 6. I guess Coyle and Giles maybe a doubt, particularly with 3 games in a week to come, so would expect Slater at right back, and Jacob on the left if they are not available. Jaden certainly looks better on the left, so would stick with Omur on the right rather than Zaroury.
The fact that we have been missing Liam Delap & to some degree Connolly, who, if he had not got pole-axed by Gunn may have contributed more goals, missing players like this does impact results. Look at Sunderland, since losing Clarke, who was contributing a lot of their goals, they have 4 points in the last 8 games.
IMO the playoffs have already gone. All our remaining games are pretty much must-win now to either make up the ground and/or take points off other teams chasing 6th, all whilst hoping Norwich drop points.
It's amazing how views differ. Many on here say we have no chance if play offs yet any Cardiff fans are saying they still have a chance despite them having played a game more and 2 points behind us
