AMC - shout out to all the subs but considering the stick he gets particularly to Gakpo as even before he scored he was very lively and on it .
We're 3 points ahead of them still, with only 8 games left. That's far better than I, or most other sane people, predicted before the season began. It's good. It's a good season, we're still in with a decent fight. Honestly, as annoying as losing would have been today, we could have lost today and still been in the title race. (only at more of a disadvantage). We didn't perform as well as most hoped today, but we're in a good position.
Only 8 to be guaranteed champions. I still think, 7 will almost certainly be enough. We're allowed one screw up in the run-in. Glad we didn't waste it today.
That is correct... but they have averaged dropping points once every three games. They could go on an unbeaten run now and I do expect them to lose points less frequently in the run-in than the earlier part of the season, but statistically they're both likely to drop points at least once. I don't think we're likely to catch Arsenal on GD. We're ahead of City, but in order for GD to matter we would have to lose a game and City would have to win a game. So after that exchange happened, we'd probably be below City too on GD. So we have to win this season with points. If we tie on points we'll probably lose the title.
How much does a £1 billion squad buy? 11th place in the Premier League apparently. They should have spend £2 billion if they wanted to win it.
it's not a 1 billion squad. it's a large waste of money and half those bought are gone already. mudryk for example isn't worth two Bob now.
also a scum chav with mount judas shirt held up for the corners. dont they realise he's all thats kept their club from a massive ffp fine?
That Mac Allister strike was rather enjoyable! You can’t beat those. Bit frustrating at times but another one chalked off
Reasonably, and on a fair strictly business deal how much are you going to pay for Moisés Caicedo now?.
Depends, are we buying him with honest intentions of him going into our squad- or buying him on the cheap to sell for profit later? If buying him for the squad... I wouldn't. We've got better players than him now. If buying him to sell- that's a different question. I suspect could buy him for £20mill and gamble you could get more than that selling him a year from now. Personally, I don't believe in doing the later option though- I'd rather develop our own players more than waste game time on someone we're planning to sell.
Yeah not thinking about him, and tbf we always hark on about class and integrity - he had agreed to move to chelsea, and he honoured that. History
Phew. We don't half like doing things the hard way. Sorry, but that action on Konate when the oppo pretends he's been fouled, flings himself over and kicks Konate was a deliberate attempt to hurt Konate. There's no way he goes down that way naturally.
