Time we had a thread about the glories of home made soups.

Without wanting to appear "soupist" as I am all for inclusivity my favourite home made soup that I go for is Leek And Potato but I can't think of any that I don't like and I respect the rights of soups in general.

What say thee?

Oh and please be mindful of offending any ingredients that are present within said home made soups.

 

I had sinigang for lunch, it was delicious.

@julie makes a mean chicken noodle soup and, of course, Scotch Broth

 

Carrot Ginger and Chilli is up there

 

Be careful not to get them stuck up there, could end in an embarrassing trip to A&E.

 

At least you call it Leek and Potato now as opposed to Potato and Leek like you used to.

I made a marvellous lentil soup the other day.

 

Best home made is broccoli and stilton.

Specifically, post Christmas with the cheese that gets left and stinks out the fridge.

French onion soup with great big ****-off croutons, loaded with Ementhal cheese.

 

Would help if you could spell the name of the cheese correctly, you ****ing ******ed cheeseist spastic.
