Get in. I’ll take any positive results at the minute. Hopefully, Hemir and Pembele find some confidence from the goals.
Tommy Watson should have been on the bench with Rigg on Monday, pleased to see Jack back of course but what an unnecessary pointless gamble that was.
I agree - given the conditions we were lucky he didn't get injured again. Playing Roberts was not a wise move either. Hopefully Watson gets his moment...
Agree, but imagine if Dodds told Clarke to sit back down as the 4th goal went in? There would have been even more hell on with accusations of "giving up on the match" etc etc
Bizarre rushing them both back given how well we’d just played, it’s done now like hopefully both are back looking sharp sooner rather than later
There is nothing to say they have been rushed back, they have sports science and a medical team to judge if they are ok to play.
Not unusual for him when he's been out for a few games. In hindsight, putting him straight into the starting line up was a daft mistake
Unfortunately with Roberts it is not just the one game as he has been a major disappointment all season , he is not a central midfield player and drifts off the wing too frequently and I can’t recall him hitting the byline very much at all this season . I am of the opinion that when Southampton were reported to be interested in signing him he had his head turned and he has played like he does not really want to be here though I wish him well and would love to see him turning his form around and get back to the form he was showing in last season .
I don’t know the reason why but I’d say he’s one of our worst players this season. What contribution has he made ?
Virtually none. It's hard to think of a player with as much ability and who tries as hard as he does who's as ineffective.
I was one of the few it seems who thought 5 million for someone with no end product was a win. We were sniffing around Rollheiser. We should have done it. Anyway this is for another thread.
Leeds to sign Sunderland youngster Leeds have made an offer to Sunderland to sign England Under-17 forward Mason Cotcher. Cotcher is set to leave Sunderland and has also trained with Arsenal before heading to Leeds where he has impressed during a trial. They will need to pay their Championship rivals a fee to take his registration.
If hes good enough to train with Arsenal why has he not been involved with the first team, when 18 year old Mayenda has?
