Yes definitely. Where? His usual position. Not sure why it's a question. Maybe Bradley coming in and playing so well has put that question mark there but a fit Trent is one of the first names on the team sheet.
IMo if you are wokring back to fitness you cannot expect to jump stright in. Robertson didn't. He has to be eased in and doing so not costing us points. This game tomorrow would be ideal for 30mins but he won't be ready. He doesn't seem to be saying utd or atlanta either. Look at all the names we could mention who've stat watching games like gomez and just stunk the place out trying to get back up to speed. we cannot afford to plonk trent in and have him be not at the races. We nee dto give him time. Same as we are having to endure salah needing time right now. (he was woeful and still scored one last weekend) we need to just be careful with all of these guys. Same for jota. He stunk the place out for 10 games last season coming back in. we got the benefit eventually. So lets at least give them time and not expect someone to be thrown in and do 10 assists.
Klopp doesn't do rushing players back. If they come back after injury and aren't performing well, it's usually down to the individual's ability to carry on where they left off rather than them being thrown in too soon. As far as I can remember, Klopp introduces a returnee for a 10 minute spell at the end of a game. Salah recently came on sooner than he should have done because of our needs at that particular time.
Makes sense to me. He is saying trent and jota and alisson (in his head) should be in first team training next week along with bajcetic. That says to me that a) he will want to see a weeks training anyway b) we are talking about palace on the 14th April, a nice home game to start the process. c) if theres 3 or 4 of them theres no way a risk is take putting them all in. We are looking at this for the next 3 big games Sheff utd, Man Utd, Atlanta (huge home tie) Kelleher (no other option for at least 10 days) Bradley (again no option unilt the 14th) Konate/Quansah VVD/Quansah Gomez/robbo/Tsimikas Endo/Macca Szobo/Elliott Macca/Gravenberch/jones salah/Elliott Nunez/Gakpo Diaz/Gakpo We are not too badly off so we canbring theseplayers back in just as you say but HOPEFULLY we have a europa SF to come
We seem to have more quality in depth than I've previously felt we had. It makes a huge difference if your backup players are up to the job. For example, Adrian was never confidence inspiring the way Kelleher is and now Bradley for Trent when Neco wasn't quite at the standard. We've done really well getting the quality level up.
