Heard nothing but praise for the club, apart from the one tosser at work who supports them (from Mirfield near Huddersfield) who thought we just stopped them playing with fouls etc. I didn't watch the game but that sounds completely at odds to everything else I've heard
Ah yes, Rosie obviously told Jaden to stop what he was doing and just run down blind alleys instead, probably because he was getting too much praise and it was messing with Rosie's ego, or something... Lokilo wasn't capable of beating anyone, it wasn't coached out of him, he was just a thoroughly mediocre footballer.
Never said it was down to LR you absolute tool, stop trying to make it into something it isn't. I was actually thinking more along the lines of there never being anyone actually in the box to play it into when Jaden breaks quickly
He’s never been that player. Always been a goal scoring midfielder, was fortunate to come through in one of the best championship sides ever but definitely stood out.
Lokilo followed instructions as a right winger which was to bring others in over trying to take players on. In the process we always looked a more balanced side with him on the right with Jaden on the other side taking more risks.
Can still have more of a consistent influence than he has. He seems to augment an already decent team performance with one of his own, but also be fairly mediocre when we are as a whole also. Probably being a bit harsh on the lad, but we've got too many like that.
being very harsh if we had consistent tempo and off the ball movements, fabio would be even better but without his goals we'd be about 12th
Good listen and quite interesting this one. Fletch obviously having to be careful and measured in what he says due to his links to the club, and Baz also sitting a bit more on the fence understandably. Whilst not calling for his head (not strategically good for them to do so at this stage) starting with Burnsie from the off, it feels sort of like the 'worm is turning'. "the whole is somehow not equal to the sum of the parts", "getting tired of hearing it", "2 shots on target in 2 games", "it's not good enough"..... Asking several of the same questions and making several of the same points as are being made on here. If they're asking the sort of questions they ask on this podcast, Acun and Tan must be asking the same.
that's the thing its all well and good leeds and other fans saying how well we controlled the ball in their one off time watching us but city fans have seen it for a long while, but we dont create **** all its not just a one off game where rosie is in doubt is it its a long pattern and our form over the last 6 is pathetic
Home form, scoring goals, conceding silly goals ( although that did get better but is creeping back in ) has all been a problem his whole tenure
Apologies, I've no idea where my impression that you continually take a pop at Rosie came from. My bad.
saw something our average home attendance this season is something like 4k higher than our average in the automatic promotion season under bruce
Teams knowing we won’t budge from one way of playing too so have had a defence built to how we want to play. People trying too hard to find reasons why we’ve gone to **** recently but maybe just maybe it’s unsustainable to continuously rely on moments of magic to get you goals rather than a solid foundation of how to break teams down that gets the bulk of your goals. Cardiff at home is the only time we’ve done it for me.
