One of the released youth team wingers said to me he’d have loved playing under Rosenior if he got the chance because of the amount of space the system creates for you as a winger.

Think Jarvis once/if he breaks through will really take advantage as he’s a pure 1v1s player

I've always compared Philogene to the style of play we saw with Okocha. Obviously we had Okocha in his twilight years, but he had a style where he was slow and methodical with his play and could use his trickery to pick out a pass. There's a bit of that in Philogene I think. He slows down when he's on the ball. When he does drive with it he tends to hold on it a touch too long on some occasions.

I strongly suspect that is exactly how it will be (be given the summer window and see how he goes until Dec latest).

If he gets the summer, I don't think he'll last to December if it isn't looking like a playoff season. Not sure Acun will wait if it's a bad start and we don't look like we've addressed the issues.

we have had plenty of time to address the issues already
in a football match there's always things that go wrong
people make out that we lose the matches over the little things whereas we really lose matches because of the big things that are apparent throughout the game
such as being too slow to build an attack

I agree, I'm not confident he thinks/see's theres something wrong with the things he repeatedly says in his post match interviews or he does and either to stubborn to change or just doesn't know how to solve it yet. None of the above are good.

What any of us think or believe really doesn't matter though, it's all about what tan and acun think and expect

But that doesnt solve the issue does it!!!!.... he can't seem to coach attacking, everything is methodical... everything is slow and ponderous... its a wonder that players dont go out with notes pinned under their cuffs so they know where they should be.. THE MAN IS NOT FOR CHANGING... he's been here 18 months and nothing has really changed and yes we've improved but not in that department.. Acun wants to please the people, even he sits at the MKM and mutters WTF under his breath.

I'm not saying he should get the summer, I don't think he should now.... But if he does, then I think that's what will happen

He and the recruitment team have got a big task on their hands. Loanees coming off as successful as they have for us this season is a rarity and im not sure we have the budget to move away from them should we choose to go for it again as squad turnover is arguably going to be the highest it has been.

All the loanees with none returning is 6 players, personally put off Giles after recent performances to spend £4m on him. Docherty, Adama, Sharp, Christie, Connolly will all be going you’d think. That’s 11 already, then Greaves will go and maybe Philogene. 13 players is a crazy rebuild.

Also have to shift the likes of Woods, Longman, Ingram etc

Reading between the lines yes. One who had his attitude questioned in a previous loan this season.

The two Liverpool lads apparently. That's been the suggestion anyway.

Yup. Was suggested he wasn't interested in grafting for his place.

The other has been dropped a few times recently.
