So that's made it 17 wins from 40 games. Last season was 13 wins from all 46 games. So there's progress in that regard at least.
It's been a funny old season really.... There definitely HAS been progress as you rightly point out. Plus we've beaten the Wurzels twice and got the monkey off our backs with regards to the Jacks following our win earlier in the season. On top of that we no longer have an embargo hanging over us (can't say whether Erol had anything to do with that but progress nonetheless). BUT There's still been a nagging doubt that we are any better off in many ways..... It's very much felt like one step forward and one step back for the most part... I guess with the occasional two steps forward and just one back... Still, onwards and upwards eh????
Just watched the highlights. Great goal for Coventry. It had everything we don't. Pace, accuracy, control, and a finish. Two very different own goals. The first was a belter. The 2nd the sort of o.g. Ugbo would score. A tap in from 6 yards.
