I think our squad is totally underestimated by some, I reckon we could sell Patto, Clarke, Neil and Ballard for close to 75mill and we'd basically be a parachute club (I'm not saying sell them all but using it as an example to show how much value there is in our squad) whether it would be re-invested properly is dependent on your viewpoint

 

Your figures are about right, I just think the financial rules are stating to bite and fees will come down as clubs reset

 

Spending may reduce but fees won't

 

And we'll be a better place as a club for it.
When the bottom half of the prem and top champ (non parachute) go tits up, well be sat there, self sustainable with a **** load of young talented lads worth there weight in gold

No idea mate, but with the long term stuff in place at the club, it wouldn't surprise me.
When we get promoted, and imo we will sooner rather than later, we need to have a solid base to go from. Last thing we need is to be a team like Mccarthy's in 04/05??? Or Sheff Utd this year, just full of good champ players but get humped every week in the prem. Just like wigan did in L1, giving it the bigger coz they won the league, however had **** all to go with jn the champ coz top of L1 was there ceiling

 

That's why unlike our loan strategy, ok Burstow hasn't worked but only having 1 or 2 on makes us stronger if we go up

 

I'm more than happy with KLD as owner. Especially in this day and age.

100% it's easy to forget that AC Milan wanted Burstow as well as us. Yes it hasn't worked but it wasn't the daftest decision in the world at the time

 

I'd rather us concentrate on the squad and use 1 or 2 loans for the players we can't get unlike others who have 4 or 5 on loan and if they get promoted need half a team.
