100% and if we had signed the players they had most would have kicked off (apart from the moore signing)

Fair enough, I find opinions are easier based around facts rather than a lazy comment that they are ****ed based on nothing

I came off here when we were in the middle of the losing streak coz I couldn't be arsed with the constant negativity and hatred.

Yes the owners have made mistakes but it's a damn site better than it was and I can see them actually trying to improve.

Whether KS is an arrogant prick or not he's done a he'll of a job to put the people in place to find the players we've got now.

Yes changes need to be made but we don't need to rip up and start again, it would be suicidal.

I honestly think some of our fanbase dont have the patience for us to put a long term plan in place, especially for it to succeed. First bump in the road and they want them all gone ffs

I see most wanting slight adaptions to our plan, championship ready players to complement the younger ones.

    That may involve change though

Totally agree, I'm not saying everything is perfect, changes definitely need to be made. But for the more vocal posters to claim everything as fact and to spread negative statements is just pointless. Have reasoned arguments, but to come out with nonsense like KLD is using us as a play thing, is totally hindering us.

As I've been labelled as one of the negative ones (unfairly but hey ho) there are so many positives of what we are doing but that can't mask the things that need improving.

I'd love nothing more than us to be a leading light in a sustainable club, but we are a tiny voice in a sea of ****e. Ipswich are a prime example, they have been accused of all sorts but thier owners are improving them top to bottom, as are ours. Just they are doing it quicker.

Wasn't accusing you as negative mate, everyone is entitled to there opinion.
Literally aimed at Bob, for spouting unsolicited hearsay as fact.
I agree, we need to be self sustainable and hopefully when we get some money in the summer through player sales it is spent wisely. Whether you think it will or not depends on your point of view. What I will say is, when Clarke goes in the summer the club will take a hiding for it from certain parts of the fanbase.( it'll either be seen as too little or selling him isn't a sign of ambition)

Honestly don't think we have the fanbase to succeed with this plan long term. Some seem to think we should go out and spend 10mill on a striker who isn't there or is a viable signing

With the way financial rules are being tightened I don't see Clarke being sold for a fee that will keep many happy.

I'm more realistic, if Clarke goes for say 10million his replacement will be half price as well.

Clubs needs to cut their cloth ready for 25/26

Totally agree. It's a bad few months and mistakes have been made but the whole culture of club has been transformed. We have a much better academy with proper prospects coming through and being retained. We have young, exciting players in squad, who have proper value, who are under contract so clearly are happy to be part of things and see value in being associated with the club. It's absolutely miles away from where we were last time in champ. I hate this mentality that as soon as things go wrong people have to be sacked. Surely it's part of the learning process. If we are in same predicament this time next year then I'll be worried but I'm confident we won't be

I disagree, personally I think he'll go for 25 and we'll spend 5 mill on 4 players and pocket the rest to improve the club as a whole.

Not a go at you, but I think our fanbase has been so far detached from the higher tiers in football for so long, we are still living in the past. Average players in the champ go for 10 mill now. A 22 year English left winger goes for 25 nowadays

Part of me hopes your right about fees, but everything I read and learn about the financial rules now and coming suggest fees and wages will drop.

Going to be an interesting summer between the PL and championship

    Couldn't agree more mate.

There seems to be this need for some of our fans to live in the past... get Keane in...spend 10mill on a striker.... it's not going to happen lads, please get over it. The sooner you do, the sooner we can be all fighting in the same direction and move on.

Yes we have, and as I have said I can see a summer where fees and wages come down as clubs adapt to the ffp /psr rules.
