Watching that shower of **** against Leicester I can't see us losing this one. I did originally say they would beat us but not now....1-3 Town!!
Assuming Moore recovers,I cant see us losing this. Our momentum is awesome. 1-3 Town, feathers are blown away, bragging rights return!
I also watched their game against Leicester, and they were pi$$ poor. But, without a shadow of a doubt, they'll be a different proposition against us, especially in front of their fans. I'd be happy(ish) with a draw
Under McKenna, we’ve thoroughly beaten the Sky curse, trumped the Gaffer match thread curse, and beaten many of the teams we’ve come up against. But the Norwich curse is still out there and I just can’t see us overcoming them at their patch, particularly with the form they’re on (Leicester aside). My heart says we score another injury time winner, but my head says this will be a cagey match. I’m predicting a 1-1 draw.
Tell you what though, if it’s a draw I won’t cheer the final whistle like we’ve won the cup and have an open top bus parade for it.
How are we all feeling about tomorrow?I think a win would be a Season defining moment.I really don't buy this "It's just another game" malarkey!!
Feeling really confident, with or without Moore. Just a tad concerned about the illness in the camp, hopefully all is ok!! Win tomorrow and that's it imo, we will go unbeaten for the rest of the season. This is sooooo reminiscent of last season!!
Sorry Bigal, still trying to get the image of the last comment by Spanish out of my head. I agree, this is a huge game for both teams and the hype does go up. There is no denying the wheels came off when we drew with them in December. A draw is the minimum requirement, there is no pressure on them as all the teams below them keep losing.
I hate watching games on tv. When I’m at a game, I’m fine and can completely enjoy it but for some reason when I’m not, I find my anxiety levels increasing. For that reason, Will probably not tune in tomorrow. Maybe go for a long walk (without my phone so not tempted to check in). The way the teams at the top are playing, we may need to win out to get promotion. There is no way Norwich will put in the same effort / level of “performance” that they did against Leicester. Can see it being really tight and hopefully we can nick it
I’m not feeling too confident here. We are likely to be without both Burns and Moore up top. Davis is potentially a doubt with illness, with a few other players maybe a doubt. If we’re starting a second choice left back, Jackson out wide, and Al-Hamadi up top - it won’t be near enough quality wise. Hopefully we’ll have Broadhead, Chaplin, and Hutchinson as the attacking trio and Al-Hamadi has the game of his life. Full faith that McKenna can get the best out of these players, but Carrow Road has been a thankless visit for us over the last 15 years. A draw would be a good result, a win would be absolutely amazing.
I can also see Taylor surging forward & joining the attack. I am sure KM will inspire them, and a draw will suffice, they have to win to keep in playoffs.
Here we go then! The players will only care about taking the points and rightly so. I don’t care so much about the ‘bragging rights’. Fast forward five years and Town will be competing in Europe whilst Norwich will still be the yo-yo club they’ve always been. If their greatest achievement is beating us over recent years when we were awful, good luck to them.
